Hi everyone!

I fear my schedule is slipping even worse than I predicted last time. I'm currently still busy scripting, and creating small cut-scenes. It's become clear to me that I won't be able to deliver a properly tested build before I leave. If I'm lucky I might just still be able to post a test-build on Sunday. If not, I'll try to release a test-build at some point during my vacation. I'll be taking my laptop with me, so I can play-test and bug fix, but I don't really know how I'll have to work on it. So it may take a while.

Also, please beware that a test-build may still contain some serious bugs, and should therefore only be played by those who wish to help me play-test.

I promise you, I'm just as disappointed as you guys. I hate to see my schedule slip like this, but it seems that for every item I complete, a new one pops up. The next time I get the bright idea to do three characters at once, please remind me how badly this went!

Or, you can just enjoy your vacation and continue with the high quality production when you get back

I agree with VV@8IVE. You need to enjoy your relaxing time, if you get some new ideas, just take notes and when you come back you'll make it as well as you can do ever. Happy vacations!

I agree. Take the vacation and relax. You have learned a valuable lesson about how much work is involved in doing three characters at once. So don't dwell on it, learn from it. Mainly, take this vacation time to recharge and relax. I know I will still be around when you come back and start working again.

better a slightly delayed release than a burned out producer... have seen far to many developers makeing that mistake in the past and for this game it would be a REAL shame.

I dont plan on leaving Genius :) Enjoy your vacation, you nor we get anything out of you stressing to release :) Kiss your family, grab a cold on, and leave the laptop at home :) Will be seeing you when you get home :)

Sorry this is slightly off topic, but are they all hairy down there? no offense but it'a a huge turn off.. hence no point to keep playing

dont be stupid, dont ruin the vacations with the constant feel that you should be working because of mismanagement, when the day comes, just release whatever you have, dont fuck that up and ruin your vacation.

Bringing work on a vacation harms both the vacation and the work. Go, chill, empty your mind of all of this while you’re out. We can take a delay, we’re here because we like what you do in the way you do it. We’ll actually be more offended if you let a mistake wreck your mind/life.

Maybe that is for the best, a small postponing is bound to bring a better finish, besides its vacation and time flies while you re having fun, you will have plenty of time afterwards for your game, you go ahead and enjoy your vacation while we hop up on the hype train :D

Everyone deserves a good vacation at least once a year! Don't take the work with you man, you need the rest.
