I really love how each episode so far show different ways of how much time shapes humankind and how long history lingers in the present in various shapes and forms. Also really enjoy how they showcase magic combat. It's so dynamic but not hectic. Now time for another round of Frieren Name Trivia: New Entry: Qual - agony or anguish (which really suits the backstory and its demise) (For some of the future characters I might need to withhold the translations of their names since the meaning sometimes spoil the plot)

its super subtle but notice how last episode Frieren mentioned learning a spell to make sweet grapes sour? and this episode Eisen in the flashback said his favorite food are sour grapes? I think its those tiny, easily overlooked details that make Frieren so poignant

I think Zotrak became a common basic spell that most mages learn it first like where in other fantasy story "Fireball" is. 80 years for sure is a long time for human but not for the rest, same as our tech IRL tbh . 2 legged walking apes is scary fast at adapting 😂😂.
