I watched Dream academy when it aired but never watched the doc until now. Megan was my one pick from the start, I am still surprised so many people didn’t notice her as she always stood out the most to me. I agree with your ‘obvious core four’ except for Megan only because her voting wasn’t usually high so didn’t feel secure. I felt that Sophia was guaranteed for sure and Lara too. I felt that Daniela being in the group was an absolute non-negotiable. Really cool to see a different side of her in the doc struggling with facial performance cos I would never have known! I was surprised by yoonchae getting in only cos I hadn’t noticed her much but watching it all back I totally get it now. I was disappointed about Manon, partially cos I was rooting for ezrela or marquise, and also because I never felt anything from her performances. She came off as blank and just gave eye contact + face card but no impact or emotion. I had no idea about her missing classes till now but I liked how she came to fix that problem. Anyways since their debut I totally agree with Manon being in katseye and they would be a different group without her, I love Manon now but those were my honest feelings at the time :) And I now have a new appreciation for Sophia and Emily from the documentary so glad to have seen more of them <3
