i feel like most of us went through the process of seeing them, thinking "now what kinda bullshit is THIS" and then realizing just how talented they are. 😭 their music is so appealing to older kpop fans too !!

It's so interesting how you were bringing up 3rd Gen and how producers were vocalists for Kpop Demon Hunters. PLAVE does a lot of their own producing for their songs specifically Yejun (blue hair), Noah (blonde) and Eunho (silver hair). So now I'm wondering if those 3 were the producers or songwriting contributors in their former disbanded groups pre-PLAVE. Bamby (pink hair) and Hamin (black hair) also help with choreography. You have to see their Dash performance, the choreo is great and Hamin and Bamby snap off. They remind me of Seventeen given how self produced they are. And maybe I like them so much because I'm 3rd gen trash 💀

...Okay but I've only been waiting for you to react to PLAVE properly for about a year now 😅 You need to see all their stuff but especially the MV for Dash, I think it'll blow your mind a little 😆 You're right that they're old school and they accumulate a lot of older kpop fans this way 😊 Also they're freaking hilarious (again, in a more carefree way reminiscent of 2nd/3rd gen) and you need to check out their highlight clips from livestreams and variety stuff! They're just so entertaining in every way and have singlehandedly made kpop fun for me again. So glad to hear you're doing a deep dive in the new year 🤗
