U was not Super Junior’s debut. It was their first comeback and first successful song, which made SM reconsider their original plan of changing members every year. Originally they were Super Junior 05 and without KyuHyun. With this song they added KyuHyun and changed their name to Super Junior

NCT LASTART has one of the best panels of judges and mentors, in my opinion. I really loved their feedback! It was helpful, constructive, and never rude. The vocal coach especially stood out; he was so kind and supportive 🥹 You can still see the trainees’ nervousness, but wow the vocals are great. They’re singing live, performing full songs, and considering how vocally demanding SM songs are, it makes it even more impressive. This show really proves how high SM’s standards are when it comes to vocals, it’s clearly their top priority. Huge props to Sion and Yushi for performing two whole songs with only 7 days of preparation. On top of that, they were helping other trainees during practice. They truly deserved that spot. 💯
