it's widely agreed among the fandom that alluka is a transgirl! killua is the only one who actually talks to her and he’s the only one that sees her as human and cares about her as a person enough to respect her that way, using the right pronouns and accepting her as a sister. the rest of the family just treats her as a 'thing' and dont consider her human or even part of the family but rather as a monster and don't respect her, always referring to her as a male/brother or even it. killua knows alluka best so i believe him, yes she's a girl :D

another theory is alluka is a girl and afab but since the zoldyck family only wants male members, basically strong men to continue the family name as well as an heir to the business, they disregard any daughters and call them sons while killua doesn't seem to really care about that and continues to call alluka his sister but that makes the whole kalluto thing a lot more complicated so im inclined to believing alluka is trans! also idk if u noticed but their names are illu-mi mi-llu-ki ki-llu-a a-llu-ka ka-llu-to
