Man....i can't wait for the holy kingdom to be confronted by most likely satoru and co i wonder how they will react to him bringing lakyus's party as well as what their general opinion/knowledge on him even is since there has been no holy kingdom pov in this entire story up until now... I think

I just wonder if Skeletor will once again take in those "weak" demi-races? Like will he encounter them and be like "I like you, become my subjects". Also, I know it's an Overlord story but was kinda wishing the Fire Cardinal lived.

Really hoping Kelart (Remedios sister) gets more screen time here. Felt like she could have been a really hate-able character in canon. Just something about her face. But definitely wondering how Calca is feeling about the killing of innocents.

This... is very interesting with Ramposa sending an ultimatum to the holy kingdom the only question now is how will Calca react. First learning that her high priestess is responsible for the death of a child, if Ramposa bother to explain the evidence to Calca in the missive or she even believe it, then how she should respond to the ultimatum. As you stated giving the high priestess up would be like giving up a extremely powerful pollical figure to another nation (like the four nobles) which is not really an option. The problem is the only other option is war with Re estes which is an even worse option. The holy kingdoms army was made to defend the people of the holy kingdom which evenly became them mainly opposing the demi- human in the Albion hills but even with them having a wall in place and trained military they still fail at time to stop demi-human incursions from happening. If the holy kingdom goes to war with Re Estes even if they win the war and fend off the Re Estes invasion they will still be left with a extremely weakened army and most likely a destroyed border wall. The demi-human are going to smell blood in the water and use this to invade the holy kingdom on mass and they will be unable to stop them. This is something that I think Calca would 100% be aware of and might actually be a reason that she might be desperate enough to actually try and hand over the Hight priestess to prevent the war. This will probably fail do the the temples influence stopping her but she might still try. Now this is all under the idea that they win the war, emphasize on the word win. With Satoru's territory army and seven hand men (all equipped with enchanted weapons) and warrior troop with the same weapons we all know that there is a very high possibly that the holy kingdoms will just outright lose the war. That would mean that there army would be completely destroy and defenses destroyed, leaving them even more weak to the demi-humans. If Kelart spy agency is aware of Satoru's power then Calca should be aware that they might actually lose in a conflict, so theirs another reason to hand over the priestess.

Well, i didn't expected holy kingdoms involvement ... i wonder how large will be river of blood before this issue is resolve.It doesn't look like non-bloody solution is possible. So I guessing that one way or another demi-humans will by "liberated" from incompetent leadership. I can't wait for what will happened with holy kingdom.

Wait, is the high priestess responsible for the assassination Kelart? That would be very bad because then Calca is 100% not going to hand over her friend and ally to be executed.

Wow that is really, really bad for the holy kingdom since that means there will be a war now. Can't wait for the next chapter. Also, how long do you think it will be before we start seeing the war with the holy kingdom? Will it be in the next chapter that we see the start of the conflict, or will it be several more chapters? I know this is me making the assumption there will be a war, but I am pretty sure at this point the writing is on the wall, and we all know there is going to be a war now.

Can't answer that but we still have some loose ends to get to before anything escalates. Some more characters will need to make their debut and don't forget i said Slane will have arole in this arc.

The story is getting good. I just hope Calca gets a happy ending. In the LN I really thought that her and sotoru would make wonderful friends. Just don't make Renner jealous, which is a difficult task.

Calca is really going to have to make a difficult decision. She is going to have to choose between her friends or her kingdom. I say friends because although Remedios might be really annoying and dumb, she is still a close friend to Calca. Remedios will definitely get herself involved in some way. This will definitely compare Gazef/ Ramposa and Calca. To determine how much they value their responsibilities and their personal relationships.

You’ve done a good job with minor characters in how Overlord will have small segments dedicated to minor characters backstories having their perspectives fleshed out is really meaningful and Armand and Alfred’s last moments were actually somewhat emotional Gazef deciding to be a friend over his idea of the ideal he aspires towards is in character he’s the guy who would walk alongside Ramposa even if he were going down a dark path in hopes of being able to help detour him and counsel him similar to what he’s done with Brain during his moment of total despair and bitterness Gazef to me is in many ways the ideal father figure i love him great dialogue with him and Ramposa I think it’s such a warm thing for them to acknowledge the different facets of their relationship
