Unexpected but throughly enjoyable. More zesshi is always nice even if this is basically a completely different character. Also the kids satoru has been picking up is getting younger and younger lol looking forward to act 2. I know space is kind of limited but I'm curious to the absolute crashout the theocracy must be having over losing a God kin. The holy relics and probably the scripture rescue team lol

This is such a great read so far. Absolutely loving Satoru here! I really hope that our heroine Zesshi can get past her mother’s hateful words, grow up, and be a better person.

It actually makes we wonder, why was Surshana an accepted god to worship in the Theocracy even though he was undead and Satoru, who shows compassion and understanding, at least not heard out? I get it if it’s complete bias, but they literally have someone who allegedly predicts the second coming of the death god. Would they not suspect Satoru for that? Anyways, love this work and you should commission Apollo to draw a piece for this, especially what you think Faine may look like.

Loved this! It's amazing how after all these years and after all these different fanfic stories I've read, people can come up with a new take on how the timeline could have gone that is just as compelling if not more so. Lots of adorable moments. This is another one of those setups where you could easily write 10 Acts instead of just 3 lmao.

Great story, the only thing that I would say is that if I were Sasa I would have separated Zesshi and Fruan as soon as Zesshi no longer needed milk and told Fruan to leave, and if she said she would not leave without her woepons then I would have taken them out of my inventory and tossed them onto the ground and forced her to pick them up and leave. On another note, I wonder if Nazarek will show up? I think it would be interesting since it would give access for Satoru (sasa) to give Zesshi his friend weapon, so she can use their ability like Ulbert's Grand Cotastraphy or Touch_me's World Break. I also love to see how the guardian reacts to Satorus Doughter, hell I have no doubt that Demiurge would have a field day with her being the heir to Nazzarick and her ability, meaning she can use all of their gods move basicly making her a living embodiment of all of their gods.

Yep, that would have been best for both of them. Satoru is still his paranoid self though, so letting her go with her gear and info on him (she basically figured out he is a player) would be a disaster. The other option was killing her, which also would create a trauma for the child. Sure, he can say she jsut ran away, but that would be still traumatic for a young child. He is truly stuck between a rock and a hard place there

My deepest apolgoies, got a case of "author block" lasting a couple days after finishing Act I, today i managed to finish the chpater and just need to proofread it, so if i can do it before tonight i will publish it today, if not tomorrow at worst.
