hello I know this is a weird place to discuss this, but I wanted to talk about something I thought about for the future of the witch and the sorcerer. I just realized that Jircniv has a very interesting poisoned fruit in front of him, and even if he realizes it is poisoned, the opportunity is too good to pass up. That opportunity is that with the fall of the Holy kingdom and the disbanding of not only the four gods' church but also what remains of the Paladin order, which has created a large number of valuable refugees fleeing persecution and trying to find a place the can practice their religion. That place being the Baharud empire under the rule of the holy emperor. this mean that Jircniv will now have a lot of high-level (by new world standard) priests and paladins coming to his doorstep seeking refuge that he could very easily scoop up and add to his military might. He could bolster the priest order in his empire with more priests and make a new palanin order for him to use. In addition to all of that, some of those priests might be caringing reserch note on holy magic or magical inventions they have developed that they would be willing to hand over to Jircniv in exchange for safety. now why is this a poisoned fruit? beceas him exepting the refugees from a kingdom the re-esties were at war with could sour relations with the re-esties kingdom. In addtion they are already on thin ice with how they are the last major bastion of the religion of the four gods that was responsible for the murder of a princess. So Jircniv can ether exept the refugees in preparation for a war with re-esties and risk sparking the conflict sooner than he would like, or he could reject them, which would deprive him of a resource he could use and soil his image with is poeple as a holy emperor of the temple of the four gods. In my personal opinion, I think he should take it since he is already on thin ice from his perspective and I think it would be cool to see a Baharute empire with a palatin order and angels at their back like some form of proto Slane Theocracy.

Well, in canon, the empire has wanted the theocracy to share their holy research with them, so I can definitely see Jircniv doing this. Also I’m pretty sure the southern holy kingdom is still intact. They just unified with the theocracy to encompass the elves, so we may be getting a story about them soon, especially if we finally see Satoru going to Slane. The refugees may be unwilling to stand against re-estize due to Satorus presence and his impact during the war. The same reason the dwarves, ice dragons and quagoa may not squabble with each other over the fear Satoru may intervene with his might. For all we know, Renner may want Jircniv to do this to maintain the power struggle between the kingdom and empire, greater ensuring her eventual rise. We got to remember that this is the same gal Albedo and Demiurge respected with pure intelligence.
