Updates - 'Til The End of the Month (Patreon)

Greetings. I'll cut to the point in saying that I'm quite tired and short at the moment. I still spent much of the week following the Konosuba audio's in bed, sleeping at odd hours and feeling generally terrible. In hindsight, it makes sense. Hot Ramen Audios, as a job, is more than just writing a script and editing it together. There's a client and talent communication component which means I can never really be away from social media (namely Discord and if the artist/actress prefers it, twitter) for most of the day. I consider myself "at work" every second I'm awake. At the moment, I am waiting to hear back from multiple people, some of whom have been absent for days, which is quite nerve-wracking. Some of the talent live overseas, and I am sometimes up with them until 5 or 6 in the morning depending on their hours. I do the work of 5 people: writer, line producer (manage budget and schedule), producer, editor, and social media manager/community manager. But I also have to be humane atop all of it, which brings me to an example that's especially relevant.

The Zhu Yuan audio is highly unlikely to release this month. That was not the case on the 18th, where it seemed almost certain it would. But AmeAfterDark is unable to get me retakes for the time being due to circumstances out of both of our control, and even if she was, ShennyChwan hasn't been available for a available for work in going on three weeks to complete her side of the extreme alt. When these things happen, I have to show understanding to them, but in truth I know it's a severe disappointment to all of you, and one that affects your willingness to stay onboard.

With this in mind, I cannot guarantee Zhu Yuan will be complete on time, at a level of acceptable quality, while delivering other projects. My focus is turning almost exclusively to completing the Samus animatic, and I will try to complete at least one other All-Access audio of what I consider "relevant scale" (2 minutes or more). If anything changes on that front I will just quietly make a push to complete it before July is over, but I won't make any further updates on the audio until then, since it would involve an atmospheric shift at minimum, not to mention the resolution to a missing person's case. I'd like to think I'm rested up enough to power through, but to conserve my energy as much as possible, I will be focused on editing and nothing else, so if I am briefly unavailable, please understand that I'm just focused on completing what work I can.
