A merchant took shelter in a decrepit castle, but when he stole a rose from the garden for his youngest daughter, the castle’s Fae demanded recompense. Refusing to hand over his fairest, kindest and youngest daughter, he sent his eldest, cruellest and most cunning. She became the Beast’s warlock, but soon her ambition and decadence outshone his.

This is the only known instance of a Warlock dominating and controlling their Patron.
