i mentioned i was making a game, and i didn't expect to write music for it, but here's some of it so far! you can find MP3s attached to the post.

i'm hoping almost all the game's music will be in tracker format, and i've created a "virtual sound chip" specification list to help keep things coherent:

12 PCM channels
8 bit samples up to 32khz - mono or stereo
sample size limit 32kb
chip RAM (samples + sequencing) 256kb
