Proof of Life #252: Update 17's first release out this week (Patreon)

Hello people from all wakes of life, how are you faring on this fine morning/afternoon/evening? How’s the end of your year going? Excited for 2025? If not, at least you’ll be looking forward for the next update, right?

As stated in the title, I can say with confidence that unless I collapse or something else of that magnitude happens, the first release new update will definitely be out this week. I’m currently almost done with the extra scene, of which you can see two screenshots above. I usually never post shots of the extra scene, but I liked the carriage one of the artists did, so much so that I wanted to share it here. I also spent a lot of time doing the interior so it matched the exterior.

Once I’m done with the extra scene, I’ll need to test it, test Cyanna’s last scene as well, and retest the entire update extensively (I need to do several playthroughs based on whether the player has finished Haylen or/and Lily’s content). After that, it’s the usual, which means adding all the saves, the walkthrough, etc… This update will take place outside the city, but you’ll be able to access the reminiscence room anyway. Also, the game will end right after Cyanna’s last scene, which means it won’t be viewable in the reminiscence room. Still, I’ll add an extra save (101) just for this scene.

Oh, and btw, today’s my birthday.

Anyway, back to work. I’ll see you again in the next few days. Also, next year, I guess. Probably in the second part of the week for the 1st release.
