Hello guys and gals! Welcome to this year's most important event, the very normal PoL post #55.

About HC2's development

Quite frankly, I could have titled this post "it's getting complicated", but I would have missed on the pun, and how could I ever forgive myself if I did?

"What is getting complicated?", you may ask. Well, the fact that, due to the story, I'm facing limitations in what scenes I can add or not. The further I progress, the further the characters are corrupted, and the more variations I can add to the scenes. 

However, now, since we're still in the middle stages of corruption, I'm struggling not to have the scenes feel too repetitive. I am no pixel artist, and I have comissioned most of the pixel animations so far. This means that I have a limited amount of possibilities for the H scenes, limited by the number and variety of H pixel animations I have commissioned so far. Sure, I have different angles for blowjobs, handjobs, and boobjobs, but all in all they're still the same position. Still, I'm trying my best to add variations with the dialogues and the different situations, and to add edits to the animations I have commissioned. So far, no one has complained that the scenes felt too repetitive, so we're good, I guess : ) I'll keep working hard until my brain exhales pink fumes from too much thinking about sex from a work standpoint.^^

Anyway, Update 5 should be a big turning point in the story, so look forward to that : D

This is just a suggestion but maybe you could add a some scenes where its either just visuals or just sounds like a head poking out of curtains or maybe a shadows or sound only kind of scene like how you did in chapter 1 when everyone went camping. Maybe a scene where the whole thing is happening in the background while something else is going on.

Good idea. D.P. had a pretty good scene showing only shadows behind a curtain that could be used as inspiration.

Without spoiling too much, there was a scene that was pretty similar to what you described in update 4, although maybe slightly too short. However, the reason why I added a medical tent outside of Belanor's house on the main map is so I can more shadows when the corruption progresses further. thanks for the suggestion btw : )

While I really appreciate your feedback, it would have been better if you had sent me this in a private message, because there are some spoilers for Update 4 in your text, and a lot of people haven't had access to it yet^^ It's a bit late now for me, but I'll send you a personal answer later when I have more time : )

I am less concerned about the animation "repetition" than I think you are. For me, personally, most of the "hotness" from a scene comes from the scenario that is unfolding. I could watch the same "animation" of Aywin giving head - as long as each time there is a slightly different reason for it. Or maybe better said - a different "set up". If that makes sense... So - my two cents - don't sweat the same animation so much as making sure each scene has a good reason for happening.
