Heya guys and gals, please grab your 62nd edition of PoL post, the first of February!

I got the fright of my life last week when I realized that, after opening Update 6 version of the game, all of my work was gone, and it had reseted to a new project.

Fortunately, it turned out it was only the file used to launch the game that was corrupted, not the data, so I just had to copy-paste a new, non-corrupted file onto the corrupted one and it fixed the issue.

About HC2's development

Anyway, I finished Solana's side-quest, and I've done quite a bit of work with Neve's one. Once I'm done with them, I'll be moving on to the extra-scene (involving Neve this time). After that, I can start with the freeroam sex scenes, etc... (I'm kinda repeating myself at this point, but I don't have much to say today^^).

It actually reminded me of a time long ago when i tried to collebrate on RPG maker project with another one Person and at the same time i was trying to make a small game of my own. I accidently copyed the wrong files into the wrong folder at some time during the devolpment so that both the games became messed up and not becoming the games what they supposed to be. Luckely i coud just ask for files from the other person i was collibrating with but the solo game at the same time i was not as lucky as with and had to start all over from scratch.

Yeah, RPG Maker is easy to use, but easy to mess up too, especially with several projects all containing similingly the same files. A little copy-paste in the wrong place, and you're done for^^ I've made a back up that I'm going to update every week now.

Love to hear it was resolved but I would say backups are important in this day and age. I assume you have been make them for each update. Keep up the amazing work can't wait to see how this story goes.

Yup! I actually had to navigate between several laptops recently, so each one of them has backup for each update. Also, thank you : )
