Announcing "The Surface," the next fan series. Waayy back in the original "Diving Girls" on the old old cleveland site, where Aya and Chihaya first met, Chihaya was 13 and Aya was 11, through a complicated series of events (just go read it!) Chihaya saved Aya's (and her own) life from drowning inside their favorite wreck. Chihaya just barely made it out the hole in the side at the hold with an unconscious Aya in tow before blacking out. Then it cuts to Chihaya waking up in the hospital 2 days later? But what happened between the two?
