I wonder what she means by an unlimited diving match? Does Ken have something to do with it (i.e. standing by with scuba gear)?

Also, how do they plan on besting Saki? She handily beat ChihAya at the beginning of the series, making it 300 meters (down and back) on a breath with little visible strain. Chihaya was a little over 200, and Aya was 268, but ended up inhaling water. The only time those two have pushed themselves since then (that we’ve seen) was Chihaya being tied to an anchor, and that was shallow (comparatively) at 30 meters.

This rematch should be interesting. Perhaps Aya and Chihaya have been doing training that the audience doesn't know about and can match Saki now? Either way, I'm curious about what happens next.

Like real world freediving competitions, they're getting well beyond the depths for using recreational scuba equipment. You'd need to have technical diver gear, and then you wouldn't be able to ascend quickly enough to help. If we reckon Eri can probably freedive to 75 metres plus (with fins and wetsuit) the best they could do would be to have Eri provide safety cover for the last half of the ascent, when shallow water blackout is most likely...

I hope we'll see the three of them cooperating in depth training before the final dive-off.
