Got floored from the image, but then left with a question, after I got back to my senses. Regarding decay, are we stating that this is falling into the first law of thermodynamics? As in, that matter is not destroyed or created but rather the theory that the very ‘string’ that is the matter only vibrates differently and therefore is now a different particle/matter all together. So, would that imply that there has always been and always will be a precise number of strings? Sorry if I am running off on a tangent…
