  Really happy with how the suction tubes are turning out. Still a fair bit of polish to be done; doing this render I notice the glare is too strong so that will be adjusted (as will the materials of the tentacles themselves). Gonna improve the little tentacles so that they always stay in contact. Jill will also have hair physics (or at least well animated hair). Physics are kind of a mixed bag; on one hand they save time in animating and look realistic, on the other hand it makes it difficult to re-render frames, as the physics are often not going to match up if you want to make a last minute change. Either way, I definitely intend to start introducing more physics stuff into my work. 

  I'll be sending the rough cut to the VA Sunday for voice-work; expect this video the first week of May. Working hard! 

  I'll be posting a new poll tomorrow, so look out for that. Gonna have some interesting options (and at least one that you've seen before). 

  Hope everyone is staying safe! Seems like this whole quarantine thing is dragging on and on, but as tough as it can be I'm hoping it's giving people a chance to re-evaluate things in their lives. Silver lining and all that, not to lessen the impact it's surely having on people. Be well!
