Wanted to share an update. New short animation should be out this week; some Succubus "tail tickles."

Do you notice anything different about this one? It's rendered in Cycles! I'm attempting to make the leap from Eevee to Cycles with the aid of a render farm. This short is sort of a "trial run" so no promises, but if it goes relatively smoothly look for the majority of future projects to be rendered with Cycles. I'm honestly very excited, almost giddy, at the prospect. I love Eevee and what it's allowed me to do so far, but there are just so many little inconsistencies with how it handles shadows/reflections, and Cycles is hard to beat in regards to how warm and accurate the render turns out.
And render layers! I can render and composite in Open.Exr, which gives me access to various passes that I can then composite into the final render, giving us a more striking image.



Ambient Occlusion pass, Original Pass, and then the Combined Pass blended together with a multiply node. Nice and detailed.
For this animation I'm also doing some stuff with physics; the chains are driven by rigid-bodies. I'm liking how it's shaping up and can't wait to show it to you.
After this is out look for some previews of Jinx Tickles Akali; I've got the voice-work and models built and have been blocking stuff out, so once I get into final splining I'll be sure to share the progress. I'll also have a breakdown of Ashe Doms Brigitte going up soon.
