Casper just had his world shattered several times and the grudges he's held onto tightly for the past whatever are on suddenly shaky ground. I think he needed this moment to decompress.

I'm loving the parallels here. The night started with Casper and Clay's talk outside, where Casper begrudgingly listened to Clay's advice, not wanting to open up and lose his nemesis complex. After the events, Casper ends up just sitting in the same place, mulling over the experience and the new feelings that came with it. The quiet of the night leaves you with yourself at the end, and the vibe of this page made me start thinking about myself a bit too.

This brings me back to my days working as a busser at a restaurant. Everyone trickling out as their shift is over, wiping the tables and putting the chairs upside down on them. Then, taking a minute to sit alone outside in the darkness, to catch your breath before heading home. It's such a vibe.

I'm really hoping the final talk / denouement takes its time. Common Grounds started only a few months into my transition. Anticipating new pages has been more or less a constant the entire time. The idea of it being over is super fucking weird to me.
