Maybe its because im not Italian but I have a hard time imagining someone as generally apathetic as Stahli having any reverence for the knights of Columbus. Im excited to see where this goes though

If there is one thing stahli cares about it's his personal relationships with his boyfriend and family and the elements that keep those things together. Like how stahli doesn't personally care about mental health but in the context of his boyfriend he's very sensitive to it. Things he would otherwise disregard mean a lot to him if they are important to those close to him. I aim to develop that in this comic

I always forget my dad made me join the knights of Columbus basically the second I turned 18. Oldest, baldest, whitest group of old men I ever met. Bingus would be bricked up so hard he should join.

My entire experience with the Knights of Columbus as a young, HAIRY, church-going Italian with the world in his eyes and a cigarette in his mouth was basically just cooking a bunch of pancakes and showing up to charity drives. Usually collecting wheelchairs (I hear some other chapters did coats, but we seemed to do wheelchair stuff more) or putting together packages for disaster relief. I didn't know much more about it at the time, but we got free brunch consistently lol.
