Sorry I pushed this one to December, I was having trouble framing everything and decided to rework some stuff and add more goblins.

Speaking of goblins, I've been wanting to try to do something with them for a while now but it's been tough. I did some work on the body for the short races so that helps, but making the goblins look passable was another challenge. I didn't want to just totally rework the way they looked and make them into green skinned gnomes with pointy noses. I wanted to try to actually work with what we had from the game. That means keeping the beady red eyes, the big head, big ears, and the same general proportions. The body was easier to add on to, but it was a challenge to change the face without pushing it too far.

It's an interesting challenge working with the short races in general. They pose novel challenges and solutions in posing, but also their proportions are so extreme that they can help you understand just how far you can push things. It's a great opportunity to prevent developing 'same face syndrome's dreaded cousin: 'same body syndrome'.
