Thought I would drop in and share a sweet little moment captured in Bergman & Knightley,as another loving Grandma surprises her beloved Grandson with a special Sunday Treat.

He is in safe hands

Very nice surprise and all the treats in store for him. I am imagining the folder on the sofa is a collection of cut outs from the fashion magazines that carried photoshoots and articles from the latest Bergman & Knightly lines.

After Elijah's initial surprise at his Grandmother's proposal, it was proving difficult to regain his composure. That wasn't being helped by the beautiful sales assistant who'd come to talk through Granny G's requirements. He was totally flustered. It was all happening so quickly. First him admiring GG's pants that morning after Shabbat as they dressed, then his interest in where she'd bought them, her desire to show him, her rather embarrassing suggestion as soon as they'd entered the store, then, and now this stunningly gorgeous sales assistant wanting to talking through how GG wanted him to look. The rollercoaster was going too fast, and that assistant was simply too pretty. Not that Granny G was a slouch. She'd always looked stunning and dressed in a way to match. Not like his friends' grandmothers, that was for sure. And she'd always been very kind to him. "So what's it to be, Elijah?" Elijah was flabbergasted: he might have a choice in this. He expected Granny G simply to tell the girl what she wanted. "GG, could I have a pair of pants like yours, please?" "Oh, that's so sweet of you, honey, but I think it's a little soon. I don't think we're ready to look all His and Hers. Although in our case, it would obviously be Her and Hers'," she chuckled. Elijah nodded in agreement and turned his face down so he didn't have to look at the assistant. He didn't want her to see him blushing. He didn't want her knowing how much he felt about his GG, or guess the kinds of things they did together. "I think that's wise Mrs Goldman. Why, I didn't start to dress in matching styles with my Auntie till I'd been working here for 2 years," she affirmed. Elijah gulped. Did the assistant mean that she was a boy, or had been a boy like him once upon a time? Or was he reading too much into what might simply be a loving relationship between and Aunt and her Niece? His grandmother was intrigued too, "So how did you start at Berman & Knightley, dear?" "Oh, my Auntie saw Bergman's advertising for Saturday Girls and wanting boys like me to apply. She applied for me. I just did what she told me." "Quite right too," said Mrs Goldman looking at Elijah. "And how long have you been with Bergman's?" "Coming up for 7 years now. B&K wanted me to stay on so I never went into the auction pool." "Auctions? Mmmm," murmured Mrs Goldman. "Can I suggest that you start Elijah in something simple, like I did when I first became a Saturday Girl?" "What's that then?" demanded Elijah. "A nice white latex blouse; a black latex, below-the-knee pencil skirt; and nice pair of black high heels. No need for lingerie or stockings at this point. Just keep it simple and see how he gets on." "And see how he leaks," chuckled Mrs Goldman causing Elijah to cringe with embarrassment. "Well, I had been thinking about a little black leather mini-dress for him , with stockings and suspenders, but that sounds ideal. Though won't he get confused with your Saturday Girls?" "Oh, no, Saturday Girls' blouses are cerise. Elijah's will be white." "White and virginal," said Mrs Goldman with a knowing look at the assistant. "I'd like the full make-up service when you take him for his make-over, and please do something about his hair. Body hair too. I want him slippery as an eel when I'm kissing him in bed tonight." Elijah winced. "Slippery." The assistant made a note on her iPad. "How nice", she said smiling at Elijah. "You'll find it nicer that way. I know I do. Can I just confirm requirements, Mrs Goldman, please?" She rattled through a list that his Grandmother confirmed. "And do you have a hair style in mind for him, Mrs Goldman? I was thinking something simple for the time being. A pixie cut? A little spikey?" "Yes, that would be fine." "Right then. Come with me honey," she said taking Elijah's hand. "Soon you're going to have the B&K look. You may even get mistaken for a B&K Boy like me. Won't that be nice?" Elijah didn't know what to say. What he did know was that for the first time since being in a crocodile in Infants, he was holding another boy's hand. And he liked it. S xxx
