Fun fact! (I meant to write this on the last vid lol😅) Gyukimaru’s design/story has a parallel to the Japanese folk story of Benkei. Simply put he was a warrior monk (referred to as a “Sohei”) who was known to fight samurai and after defeating them he would take their weapons. Also as a Sohei he was often depicted with a Naginata which is the weapon Gyukimaru fights with.

In the manga I found it more difficult to tell that Komurasaki and Hiyori were the same person. Since it is black and white, they both just looked like they had black hair so I thought they were two different people until later. It is much easier in the anime since she has a very unique teal color.

Keep cooking with your theories! And don't worry. Since I'm actually still behind you guys, you won't get any "that doesn't make sense🤓☝️" from me. In fact, it might just be the opposite :P As for Kid - to me, he feels like what Luffy could have turned into, if he took a different path. Like if didn't have his insane family. His connection with Shanks. Or sometimes just his dumb luck. Kid seems super unlucky. Heck, maybe it's like with Luffy and Big mom, and fighting him was just a case of unfortunate circumstances. Otherwise, why would he pick a fight with the most chill of all the emperors? Though that might just be our perspective. Who knows. Rather than Kid or Shanks, I wanna see an actual redhead baddie (♀) out there in the future.
