Loved this video so much! It was fun to see the dynamic between you and Natsuki, I really felt like a fly on the wall, like the video was more personal/human if that makes sense, plus traditional Japan is something I adore. Many funny moments and great scenic shots!

Such a delightful buzz watching this. Crossing the Torii pass in snow just a week after burying my mum was a marvel - never thought id feel such happiness so soon after such devastation. Descending into Narai just before it got dark and staying at my beautiful accommodation… i can still feel it in my soul. Love seeing you and N-dog share this one together ❤️🙏 i just done my first hike today since then. My slipped discs slipped again not long after i got back from Japan and then again in August. Quite the year. Feels so good to suffer through climbing again and scotland is frigid today and we can see further into the highlands than normal.

Thanks for sharing the hiking experience. Natsuki was carrying a red thing with an antenna, do you happen to know what it is? I was curious if it was a LoRA wifi thingy. Glad to hear you intend to explore/exercise more even if it doesn't get views 🫡

More things to add to my next trip! Love the outdoors/more rural content Chris, please keep it up!

What's the backpack that Chris is using?

Loved it! The mix of humour, history and of course the scenery make it such a great video. I know you've been having recenr doubts Chris, but THIS is what makes Abroad in Japan so special. More more more!! (love your other stuff too, but this really was fantastic)

I am finally getting around to watch this video. I am loving it thus far. I remember seeing these villages in past videos, and they looks so beautiful and gorgeous. These adventure videos on foot or bike through the countryside never ceases to amaze me.

Chris, it's the best video you've ever made. No joke.

Seth
