Here’s the fantastic promo artwork going out tomorrow to officially announce Journey Across Japan, as well as who’s going on the trip (Joey and Natsuki).

- As you can see I’m not cool enough for sunglasses club.

The pressure is on now to see Mount Fuji! It’d be a bloody disaster (albeit a hilarious one potentially) if we didn’t get a single glimpse of the mountain on our week long adventure. We’ll roll with the hand fate deals us.

(Failing that, we’ll just CGI Mount Fuji).

I’m currently in Tokyo and just days away from posting the long awaited Q&A video - I’ve got just one last shot to shoot at Shibuya Crossing then it’s a wrap.

We’re also building a page on the Abroad in Japan website where viewers can submit challenges. It’d be great to have some audience interaction along the journey to help shape the fate of Journey Across Japan once more! When it comes to filming a trip, experienxe has taught me that unpredictability and spontaneity are the key to hilarity.

What do you reckon?

Awesome excellent so professional 👍

Looks cool, although even though you say you aren't cool for sunglasses, I think Joey just looks dodgy to be honest, I think I would call the police to save you from him Chris if this wasn't a Abroad in Japan poster, Joey just looks like a low ranking member of the Yakuza And Natsuki reminds me of a night club DJ who would definitely play some awesome tunes.

Jashlo

🎚 turned it up to 11

Eels

I reckon you're gonna need a bigger postcard to get away with not showing the real Mount Fuji this time, haha, and that's some excellent promo artwork

Jewel - (Freyja's Konjures)

This is fucking amazing. I cant wait to "get tickets" to see this film. 😎 And unpredictability and spontaneity are not only the keys to hilarity, but also sometimes keys to the best memories. 😜🎈

Luke Watts

Looks like a straight to DVD sequel

Laura Beaumont

Seems like the only one taking the escape seriously is Natsuki.

This looks like the typical Netflix original movie that keeps popping in the main screen but you never bother to watch.

Crikey, the madlad is going for it! Massively excited to see the amazing results of all your hard work Chris!

Anthony

Should we expect a surprise appearance from Sharla?

Ryori

High production quality. Love the dystopia-brawler look for Natsuki, cho yakuza-esque. It suits him. Evocative scene of Fuji and a Torii gate, with Sci-fi hue. Hollywood comes to you-tube. Any poster-size prints?

I love the gritty, film feel of this poster. I can almost see your cutouts sliding slightly across the screen with a 80s crime drama soundtrack. The font choice is pretty good too.
