Well folks, November has been a fantastic action-packed month for the Abroad in Japan channel, with the six part series of Journey Across Japan: Escape to Fuji - still ongoing!

My son and I have a Christmas tradition because we have a twisted sense of humor, we have venison roast for dinner on Christmas Eve. He joked that we should get KFC for Christmas Day.

Would it be possible to have these notices posted earlier than the day before? It just seems such short notice.

I love KFC for Christmas. I know people outside of Japan laugh at the tradition. Japanese homes do not have large ovens to cook a turkey or roast, so the Colonel does the next best thing. When in Rome... The invite list for the Christmas Dinner is absolutely charming, sort of a bonenkai for the AIJ cast. やっぱり、行きたいなあ。
