Abroad in Japan | August Releases (Patreon)
Content
First off, a huge thanks to you all for your support this month - not only did we smash the first two targets in the first week, but we're dangerously close to the third.
As of this week, I've now been living in Japan FOUR years. It's crazy (and scary) when I think about it. The passage of time often sends a shudder down my spine so I try not to dwell on it too much, but I've been very lucky to tick off many dreams and things I wanted to do since arriving. There's still plenty more targets to go though and I'm excited that this is the year I can finally devote all my time to Abroad in Japan and help people that want to follow a similar path.
I've just returned tired and dehydrated from a 3 day trip to Tokyo, to produce a video in search of Tokyo's greatest view. I visited the Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, The Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku and Mori Tower in Roppongi and for me, there was one clear winner. I'm looking forward to revealing all in the video which will be out later next week.
August is going to be a busy month with loads of projects and some really great Patreon exclusive content; here's a list of just some of the awesome stuff to look forward to this month!

- Why I Moved to Japan | Abroad in Japan Stories #1
The time has finally come to explain how I ended up in Japan. Moving to Japan was the biggest (and best) decision I've ever made. The reason I've never told it before is because it's quite personal and I've always been hesitant to talk about myself at length on YouTube (after all, the channel is supposed to be about Japan not me). That said, I think for many folks, there's some value to be had from re-telling my decision, and I'm hoping it may help push you to do the crazy thing you really want to do deep down.
