First off, apologies about the delay on the article - there were a few technical issues with the computer the last few days and it's finally been resolved. It's knocked back the schedule a few days, but the wheels are in motion once again.
In this week's article, I talk about some fun and memorable encounters I've had with people in my time in Japan - I'm sharing them with the hope they'll encourage shy readers to push themselves to meet new people, as you never know where it may lead.
Two days ago I met with Natsuki and we filmed the Q&A session using your questions - it was pretty funny and the video will be out in the next 10 days!
This week also sees the release of the first Abroad in Japan stories video (again delayed from it's original day of the 15th, to later in the week), about what led me to move to Japan in the first place.
As of tomorrow I'm filming in Okinawa for a few days with Odigo travel - and I'll be joined by Rachel and Jun, Uwaga Pies, Chris Okano and Kim Dao. I'm looking forward to it, as it's my first time in Okinawa - expect a video and lots of pictures to follow.
Finally, I'm also toying with the idea of a second channel, with more vlog style videos - aka, walking around with a camera and using less editing. I think it could be fun, but I'll only do it if I think it'll be any good. Personally, I find vlogs difficult to watch so I've been hesitant to do it myself. If I do it, it'll be piloted through Patreon first though, so you'll be on the front line if the vlog does happen and your feedback could well decide the fate of the concept.
But before all that, it's bed time. It's gone midnight and I've got to get up at silly o'clock for the flight.
If you guys have an y stories or interesting interesting encounters from your travels, let us all know in the comments section! It'd be great to hear some stories!
Chris
