Bleach #SundayRundown I'm so happy you guys caught that Battle Ignition remix, pretty dope weren't it? Ichigo is not only a complete enigma to Nimaiya, he cannot fathom how his sword can even exist without an asauchi. Meaning, Ichigo never awakened his, which means he does not possess a zanpukuto is the traditional sense, and based on what Nimaiya said, it is the only way to do so. Which does not make sense to us, Ichigo found out what his sword's name was, achieved shikai and even a bankai, all without an asauchi. It is funny how Rana suggested that Ichigo is getting sent back in time, because as implied by the Masaki poem at the end, as well as the 'Everything But The Rain' title card, we are gonna learn some much needed and belated backstory. Every question you have will finally be answered. Well, almost every question. Shame that Chris missed this session, I can't wait for his uncuts :)

#SundayRundown #BLEACH Inb4 people start making definitive statements about the nature of Unohana’s bankai. The truth is, her zanpakuto has always been mysterious, and even now, with the anime revealing more than the manga did, we still don’t know the true extent. If you don’t remember, her shikai is Minazuki. It's a giant one-eyed green whale/ray thing that we see eat people and heal them with its stomach acid. Also flies around for transportation. In the manga, when she activates her bankai (ALSO called Minazuki but spelled with a different character), after her bleeding hands, all you see is a big black…something that could be interpreted as a slash, then the melting into skeletons, then things seem to be reset, and the fight just continues normally until Unohana dies. Obviously, fans at the time, eagerly awaiting this lady’s bankai went “Wait…WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!” And thus the debate raged for years…and still does.

See, some people think the dissolving into skeletons thing is a metaphor signifying all things melting away until all they are is warriors reveling in death. Others believe the “blood” that fills the room is a deadly corrosive that literally melts her opponents and herself; which she then of course heals. Given the fact that the characters for shikai-Minazuki translate to “flesh drop gorge”, with the singular solid creature healing people with stomach acid before melting into its scabbard, it stands to reason that the bankai version - whose characters translate to “end of all things” - would be the inverse, with acid spreading out everywhere and destroying instead of healing. Plus, we’ve already seen that she can heal just about anything, and has already been slaughtering Kenpachi and bringing him back over and over.

These are the reasons why I hold with the idea that the flesh-melting is literal. Well…that, and I also think, if all Unohana’s bankai does is aesthetically change the room and give her fancy projectiles, that’s kinda’ lame. 😛
But that’s just, like, my opinion, man. As I said, even now, we still don’t truly know the full extent of her abilities, ‘cause Kubo has kept them intentionally vague all this time.

Jose Avalos

It’s still Kate Higgins voicing unohana

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

#SundayRundown #Bleach First off I love this episode and fight. Such a hype, bitter sweet, and beautiful fight. An interesting thing about Unohana’s Zanpukato is that her Shikai and Bankai names are pronounced the same but are written differently in Kanji so they mean different things. Minazuki (Shikai) - “Flesh-Drops’ Gorge” You saw it in the Rescue Rukia Arc. It was a giant green manta ray monster. Minazuki (Bankai) - “All Things’ End” Kenpachi's - So a way to think about it is there's the Kenpachi title and the True Kenpachi Title. Being a Kenpachi also means being the captain of Squad 11, so while Unohana wasn't defeated and so she didn't lose the Kenpachi title she did stop being the captain of squad 11. A new captain was appointed and the tradition of Kenpachi still remained along with defeating Kenpachi to become Kenpachi. Unohana is passing the true title to make Zaraki the first true successor allowing the Legend of Kenpachi to truly begin. Aside from Unohana and Zaraki we also know about the 7th-10th Kenpachi's. Not much is known about 9 and 10 aside from minor things but the 7th and 8th do have a good amount of information on them like their Zanpakuto abilities. And here's the thing, this was not stated in CFYOW….it was stated in SAFWY - Spirits Are Forever With You.

Smash Bran'Discootch

The sub VA for Unohana is like a million times better than the dub VA. And like the dub VA isn't bad by any measure, the sub VA is just that good.

#SundayRundown Just to clarify because I feel like I see people make this mistake a lot (I don't totally fault recators because sometimes a lot is being thrown at you in the moment lol) but, Kenny didn't inherent Unohana's sword. It's the sword he's been carrying and fighting with that spoke to him. Minazuki is Unohana's zanpaktou and, for the most part, you can't inherent/pass down zanpaktous in Bleach (which I think is helped made clearer with what we learn from Nimaiya (black dude in Squad 0) this episode). Also, I think why only one of them could live (and why it was Kenny) is because Shinsui (new head captain) realised the difference in force between the Quincies and Shinigamis. I think he realised it was too great and they needed a way to bridge the gap and, Kenny was one of those ways. Just think about it. We've seen Kenny fight for hundreds of episodes and he was subconsciously holding back the entire time. Now imagine the power he (and the Soul Society) would have if he was fighting at his full power. I also think everyone knew Unohana was the only one who could draw that out of him, at the cost of her life. I get why people don't love the choice of letting the strongest healer die (took me a minute to somewhat accept what happened outside of the epicness of the fight) but, I think it was a risk Shinsui thought was worth it to attempt to stand a better chance when the Quincies come back. This is probably my favourite episode of this part (though episode 6 is also a favourite and very strong competition). I'm excited for you guys to finally get answers to questions you've been asking since you were watching early, OG Bleach with the next two episodes but, ngl, I'm especially excited for you guys to get to part 2. It's my personal favourite out of the 3 parts so far (and it's not even close lol).

Kail Andrews

#SundayRundown Bleach A few details about the squad 0 members. Hikifune, if you don’t remember she was the Captain of squad 12 that Urahara replaced in the Pendulum arc; she was close to Hiyori and new Shinji. Also, she is shown to had been some form of researcher but if you remember there was no R&D department before Urahara. Kubo clarified in a recent post that many scientists formed their own research groups in secret to perform “questionable” experiments. The leader of that group was Senjumaru and Mayuri was a part of it, that is why they know each other. In Japanese Oetsu actually counts from 10 to 1 everytime he introduces himself. He is one of the most ancient beings known in Bleach, it’s like talking to the man who discovered fire.

TrueWarriorJak

#SundayRundown #Bleach #TYBW I don't have new information about this episode that wasn't already said about Unohana and Zaraki. But I do have an observation you may find interesting, with the death of Unohana it is the death of the original Gotai 13 Yamamoto and Unohana were the last of the old Guard. So while their deaths is sad its also in a sense the beginning of a truly new era for the Soul Reapers as whole. I didn't really realize this until I re-read and re-watched this myself last year, in that Yama and Unohana were fine with dying. They passed on their roles to the next generation, they knew their era is over and its time for their successors to take the reigns. It wasn't as obvious on a first reading/viewing but seeing how the Gotei 13 has slowly changed with Yama from defeating/killing those original Quncies to creating a school for Soul Reapers with the biggest shift being Ichigo's first invasion of Soul Society, from basically a bunch of warlords to finally a true force for good in the universe by becoming balancers of life and death. Anyway thought that was a really neat through line I feel doesn't really get talk about enough and hope you find it interesting.

Kollie123

Chris has personally wounded me missing the follow up episode of this fight after how hype his reactions to last episode were

Rickey66

Im so excited for you guys. Finally you will start getting the backstory y'all been waiting for. The title of the next episode references back to episode 8 of the original series titled "June 17th, Memories in the Rain". It's the episode where the Kurosaki family visits the mom's grave and we learn how she died. But more importantly how much despair it causes Ichigo. As you know, Rain has alway been a metaphor for Ichigo's despair throughout the series.

Akimitzu

noooo!! Where is Chris?! I wanted to see his reaction to this episode for soooooooooooo long and hes not here?! T_T Also, Unohana giving Kenny her bloodsword was metaphorical not literal. Unohana was giving Kenny Free Zenkai boosts LMAO EDIT - I need the link to where Pat got that SICK Kenpachi sweater. EDIT 2 - cuz damnit i cant wait for next reaction, for eps 12-13 please do a double as it was a 1-hour special to wrap up cour 1 when it first aired :)

HalGLC

On the "lots of voices changed here" front, the prior voice actor for Chad had given his reasons, I know a lot of the Critical Role VA's (Liam for Ukitake, Travis for Ginjo, Laura for Halibel/Mashiro) have decided they're no longer doing non-union voice roles (and that basically covers all anime from what I've seen), I imagine other changed voices may be the same reason (or, naturally, any of the other viable reasons with the 8 year gap between the end of Bleach and start of TYBW)

Conflictor

#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW Firstly everyone like this up if you demand a separate reaction from Chris for those that he missed since these episodes are too peak for us to miss out on them, especially when he was the one that predicted what Unohana was doing, in exchange for them taking a week break from it so they can give time for that to happen, and also have Eps 12 & 13 drop together. Also Suraj, hear me when I say that both me and Pat from RT TV have been saying TYBW is AOT levels of quality for the longest time, arguably even better than its final season, never dare to let anyone tell you different. 😤 Now this episode is brought to you by Unomommy and the Numba 1 Zanpakuto creator! At last, we finally get to see the most insanely & visually contradicting BAN-KAI- 🩸MINAZUKI🩸 [All Things End] The Shikai of this Zanpakutō share the same name pronunciation but the Kanji meaning is different from the Bankai state. While the Shikai state of it basically means "Flesh Drops Gorge" as the Healing Manta Ray, the Bankai state means “All Things End” This is used to indicate that this Banaki works in conjunction with her Shikai as a contradiction: creating a place of cyclical acid blood as the substance of her Zanpakuto’s animal form being a Manta Ray that we saw back in Soul Society, where both the user and their opponent dies over and over at an accelerated rate- that’s why they’re both shown to turn into skeletons mid battle but then returning back to normal like nothing happened. As for their connection, due to Unohana’s sin being that of causing Zaraki to subconsciously suppress himself making him weaker for the sake of enjoying prolonged battles, although not ever explicitly stated and not by blood, they’re Lost siblings, but they’re interpreted to be either lovers or a mother and son. Let it be known that the new current Zaraki wouldn’t exist without Unohana’s guidance and blessing. Yes he has more spiritual pressure/raw strength and potential then her but she could have outright ended him at any point in this battle since she has far greater skill, hax and experience, what makes that clear is bidding him farewell by allowing him to pierce and finish her off instead of prolonging the inevitable, sacrificing herself. As for their 1st fight she was caught off guard not expecting a child to be able to even harm her as it was explicitly shown + she never used Bankai. Zaraki himself would agree and slaughter anyone that dares to disrespect her only to bring him up. R.I.P to the 1st Kenpachi; Yachiru Unohana as the last remaining member of the OG 13 Court Guards Squads as the best and one of the strongest woman in all of BLEACH. You got to pass on your legacy and on your own terms. An Epitome of a woman above men, the kind that makes the best out of them, just like Krista Sudmalis who invented the GigaChad. Besides Unohana and Zaraki, we actually know about the 7th and 10th Kenpachi’s. While not much is known about the 9th and 10th aside from minor things, the 7h and 8th do have a good amount of info on them like they’re Zanpakutō abilities. And unlike it being commonly stated in CYFOW, it was stated in another lesser known novel SAFWY - “Spirits Are Forever With You” This is the 2nd major fight, or rather battle of the Thousand-Year 🩸Blood🩸War, next week we dive into peak fiction of the highest motherfu*king known as “Everything but the 💧Rain💧“ and “The Blade is Me” as the natural root peak source of Bleach’s story/plot! Here is the Kubo’s final illustration of her https://twitter.com/tite_official/status/1602324898604630021?s=61&t=df7YU9hfBr4nqePzmPga7A Sidenote: Never skip the keyword pages which was revealed and broken down by me with the better translations than the Reddit ones (which you need a deeper understanding of both Japanese and Bleach to get instead of my more comprehensively easier ones) in Episode 1’s Keyword page. I just reveal drop them corresponding to what you post to avoid spoilers. You’ll have only me to rely on for the finale that is Cour 4.

Charlie

Nooo i can't believe Chris missed this one 😢 Edit: Curse that clam chowder

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

What you said is good shit. But I don't agree with she just allowed him to pierce her. She used everything she had to bring our his real strength and he had finally earned the kill he would have gotten all those years ago. She did not allow it or let him, if she did then Zaraki would not deserve the title of Kenpachi. Saying she allowed herself to get pierced disrespects her, Zaraki, and the Kenpachi title.

Xonok

Chris missing this episode is criminal, especially since he predicted Unohana healing Zaraki to continue fighting. In the future just throw away all seafood that's outside the fridge for more than 3 hours, so Chris is not tempted to eat it.

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

Understandable. I have a problem with your wording then. Also she could have been out of energy and not continued the fight because of that, you're assuming she still had the energy to move on. And Zaraki was laid out most likely after he had put his shakles on so its a win with an asterisks.

Adan Guzman

While I do love how the Japanese voice says “BANKAI” I actually prefer how the English one says “Minazuki”

Smash Bran'Discootch

It's been a good while since I read the manga, but isn't there some evidence that the blood is corrosive? Like how we only see parts of Kenny that the blood splashed on melt away? Again it's been YEARS since I read the manga so feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Nabeshin

Actually, the manga kinda' makes it seem like the blood isn't even real. Unlike the expansion of the fight we now have in the anime, the manga just shows the frame where Unohana holds the stream of blood in her hands while saying "Minazuki", then there's a "slash", Kenpachi says he's "melting away", skeletons, then everything's back to normal. It's like "Wait...so her bank does NOTHING?" 😂

Zangetsu

Yeah people where really surprised Matt Mercer decided to do the Sakamoto days anime

Jose Manga

Hey guys great reaction, as a suggestion next week should be a double drop since every season of TYBW has been double drops , take care 💪🏼

Jose Manga

Wooops, my bad is the one after next week that should be a double drop disregard lol

Matthew Richson

I do hope next week they watch two at once, because they’re perfectly packaged together.

Herber

This is def one of my fav fights it was so peak with the lore pure cinema

Denickart

Not necessarily all anime. They still come back for their most iconic roles like Laura Bailey with that Fruits Basket reboot a few years ago and Liam O'Brien as Gaara in Boruto.

Roosevelt

#sundayrundown bleach this is the craziest sex scene I have ever seen animated I felt dirty watching it but it felt sooo right

#SundayRundown I’m sorry but don’t ever Disrespect The Number One Zanpakuto Creator by comparing him to Killer Bee.

Ichigoat

#SUNDAYRUNDOWN BLEACH "Why not keep both Alive" which makes sense, but Kenpachi's don't live by logic. The 11th division has constantly shown the that they prioritize their own satisfaction over logic, Kenpachi quickly joined Ichigo's side cause he wanted to have a good fight, Ikkaku let the pillar be destroyed because he wants to stay under Zaraki, Yumichika was going to die and let the pillar be destroyed cause he wanted to be under Zaraki...this division has ALWAYS put their desires 1st. Unohana made this division and she's the same, her purpose is passing the baton and enjoying the thrill of battle, and she certainly treats it as a Parent passing the torch to a child. It's a true thematic representation of Motherhood and Femininity in Bleach Oetsu says that Ichigo never had an "Asauchi" this means Ichigo throughout the entire series has never had an actual Zanpaktou, meaning he never had real Shinigami power...so now the question is what was the source of his power if not his Shinigami powers? (This was actually brought into Question when Ichigo 1st used Bankai against Byakuya, Byakuya points out that Ichigo's Bankai is abnormal it doesn't really work in the way all the others work) PS: Suraj and Pat spittin ya'll are on the money about TYBW being like AoT's quality. Yaboyroshi, Yaboyrocklee and Pat from RTTV have Bleach as a top anime and rightfully so. Pat from RTTV actually liked Bleach more than AOT at end of TYBW Cour 2 calling it a “perfect season “. Not saying which is better that’s subjective, but Bleach is doing amazingly right now fun fact, TYBW Cour 3 was the highest rated anime of ALL time surpassing even AoT’s last season, every episode above a 9.0. This adaptation, quality writing, characters, animation, direction etc is truly special shit is absolute PEAK FICTION

imani

Oh-Etsu in the original audio sounds way better to me.

Alex M

In Bleach Brave Souls, Unohana’s Bankai is an insta-kill that also heals her iirc

Alex M

Man, i sure wish CFYOW was a real thing….. (Sarcasm)

Smash Bran'Discootch

I....don't think that was a reference to The Wire? I mean I could be wrong, but people have been saying "shiiiiiiiiit" like that for at least the past 30 years. But who knows? It could be a cheeky reference. It would just be an extremely subtle reference if it is one.

Alex M

#SundayRundown #Bleach We are all very well aware of just how good Unohana is at healing. Meaning that, it was her choice to never heal the chest scar she got from fighting Kenny (Much like how Grimmjow decided not to heal the scar Ichigo gave him as a reminder). Unohana’s Bankai was foreshadowed in the 2007 guidebook. Here’s a link to that specific panel: https://www.reddit.com/r/bleach/comments/zkbn0z/flipped_through_a_guidebook_and_saw_this_the/ Also, I love that Ichigo fails the Asauchi test. You would normally have to infuse an Asauchi with your soul in order for it to become a Zanpakutou, but how can he do that if he barely knows anything about himself? Can’t wait for Everything But the Rain next week!

Gunzz TheCreator

If only they was double dropping and chris was there. next episode is fyeee.

dugnutt

#SundayRundown #Bleach You guys were NOT supposed to know that information about Ywch! So far he's been addressed as "the quincy king", "his majesty", and his name. The "father" reveal happens in episode 12. Good job them spoiling them patreon!

Smash Bran'Discootch

XD well I've only been alive for a little over 30 years so that's all I can speak for but yeah you're absolutely right 😆

Smash Bran'Discootch

That's a totally fair shout. To me, it felt like the japanese VA understood the assignment a little better. You can really hear the bloodthirsty warrior coming through in her delivery. Though I will say that the English VA did this thing where she came off as a teacher or maybe even a mom which is also a totally valid take on the scenario and kind of made me see a different side of their battle that I'm not sure even came through in the manga. Hmmm, you've given me a lot to consider.

Trevor

#SundayRundown In honor of best girl Yachiru Unohana. The fact that the original 13 Court Guard Squads captains were all battle maniacs and criminals is probably a reference to a real historical group called the Shinsengumi. They were a police force created by the Shogunate during the civil war that preceded the Meiji Restoration. They started out as poorly disciplined thugs until they were whipped into shape by their leaders. They were also known for their rigid sense of justice. If you watch any series set in mid 19th century Japan they will either be the main heroes or main villains.

Gremmy Thoumeaux

#Sunday Rundown: Bleach When it comes to Unohana’s Bankai, nobody really knew what it did during the manga’s run. All that happened was she summoned blood and then both her and Zaraki were turned into skeletons and that’s it. Around a decade later, the anime dives deeper with her ability to manipulate blood and regenerate wounds at a fast rate. However, now it’s debatable whether or not them dissolving into skeletons is actually happening or a metaphor of how Zaraki sees battle. To this day, nobody is 100% sure. Even the Bleach Wiki doesn’t state them melting as an ability of her Bankai because I can imagine the people who also run the site aren’t sure enough to place it as fact.

secondubly

nah it's definitely not specific to "The Wire" - I just think it's one of Isiah Whitlock Jr's most known roles (as the guy who always says that line) and so people kind of attribute it to that.

Denickart

Yep in Peacemaker Kurogane they were heroes and in Rurouni Kenshin, while not villains, they were on the opposite side from the protagonist.

Anateres

#sundayrundown TYBW has soooo much lore that the pay offs even will be in cour 4.

Shockzz1234

Nah Dugnutt is right. I remember someone told them in the SundayRundown like RIGHT after episode 7, they weren't supposed to know at that point. Spoilers!

Shockzz1234

It also makes sense why Renji was able to pass the training while Ichigo did not. Renji has had literally hundreds of years to "figure himself out" - little baby Ichigo has lived a measly 17 years of life by this point in comparison lol. He doesn't know anything about himself!

Shockzz1234

I haven't read SAFWY (yet, i plan to very soon...uhh, at least if i can find translations of it lol) but iirc the 8th Kenpachi is in Muken on the lowest level with Aizen right? I assume this is a major reason why C46 were worried about Zaraki turning on them, i assume the 8th Kenpachi did something similar?

Zana

Dang bro Suraj was spittin in the discussion lmao

Anderson Lake(The Bleach)

Spoilers I space spoilers like this just in case for normies. Kinda, he had a pretty extreme plan of invading hueco Mundo. He was targeted for arrest by central 46, sensed squad zero came for him and willingly imprisoned himself in the Muken.

Adan Guzman

#SundayRundown - Bleach As people have mentioned, Unohana’s Shikai and Bankai names are the same but the Kanji are different. The only other character who’s Zanpakuto shares the same name between stages was someone in the light novels who was also a Kenpachi. Kenpachi Kuruyashiki (link to see what he looks like: https://bleach.fandom.com/wiki/Kenpachi_Kuruyashiki) was the 8th Kenpachi who actually had a Bankai that was banned by Central 46 in order to protect the Seireitei and he was also a candidate to become a member of Squad 0 but refused. But unlike Unohana his Bankai and Shikai names are the same both in name and in kanji as well, Gagaku Kairō

Bleach Expert

#SundayRundown Kenpachi 剣八 has no real name; He inherits the title of Kenpachi 剣八 by defeating the previous one, but it functions as his personal name, Kenpachi means Ken 剣 = “Sword,” Hachi 八 = “Eight.” Both Unohana’s Shikai and Bankai are named “Minazuki.” But the Shikai, Minazuki 肉雫唼 means “Meat Droplett/ Eat”; and the Bankai, Minazuki 皆尽 means “Everyone/Everything Deplete/Exhaust”

Anateres

Nah man. As good as Bleach is and i love it. AoT is truly once in a lifetime. AoT exceeds every anime

Ichigoat

That’s your opinion, I hold AoT highly as well but to me Bleach is better. And my point isn’t to say Bleach beats AoT it’s to show that it’s not crazy to say. Ratings speak for themselves

MONA.KUROSAKI

#SundyRundown when I saw this episode at the 1st time my reaction was as u guys I felt 2 different episode in one but rewatching it made me realised there was parallel situation Zaraki gained almost a new zanpakuto and Ichigo lost his .

Christian R Lewis-Batista

#SundayRundown #Bleach Not a lot to say on this episode other than it being a beautiful sendoff for Unohana. But one important thing I do want to mention is your continued confusion on what being a Kenpachi is. Kenpachi is a title. Kenpachi of Zaraki (Zaraki the district in soul society he lived in) is the 11th official taker of the Kenpachi title. He lost to Unohana as a child so he did not get named Kenpachi. After the quincy war, and to make up for her sins, she renounced her title of Kenpachi and changed her name from Yachiru to Retsu to show her full transition from killing machine to healer. Zaraki killed the previous 11th division captain, the 10th Kenpachi and took the title for himself officially becoming the 11th Kenpachi. We know of two other kenpachis because of the light novels. This is all in reference to your past sunday rundown where you guys got confused!

Shenahatsu Kyjiin

#SundayRundown [Tidbits][Lotta Reading] - Many people argued "Why not keep both Alive" which makes logical sense, but therein lies the problem, Kenpachi's don't live by logic. The 11th division has constantly shown the viewers that they prioritize their own satisfaction over logic, Kenpachi quickly joined Ichigo's side cause he wanted to have a good fight, Ikkaku let the pillar be destroyed because he wants to stay under Zaraki, Yumichika was going to die and let the pillar be destroyed cause he wanted to be under Zaraki...this division has ALWAYS put their desires 1st. Unohana made this division and she's the same, her purpose is passing the baton and enjoying the thrill of battle, and she certainly treats it as a Parent passing the torch to a child. - Ohetsu says that Ichigo never had an "Asauchi" which as we just learned is the basis of a real Zanpaktou, this means Ichigo throughout the entire series has never had an actual Zanpaktou, meaning he never had real Shinigami power...so now the question is what was the source of his power if not his Shinigami powers?. (This was actually brought into Question when Ichigo 1st used Bankai against Byakuya, Byakuya points out that Ichigo's Bankai is abnormal it doesn't really work in the way all the others work) - People tend to forget that Ichigo while prodigal, is still a kid, who still carries trauma. That's why it's easy to see why he'd fail at training in this compacity. Unlike Renji and most of the other Captain class Shinigami, Ichigo hasn't had hundreds of years to master himself and come to terms with his issues. Yes Ichigo has improved and gotten stronger but he still has yet to come to terms with even his hollow side, that issue hasn't been brought up since defeating Ulquiorra and he still very much takes responsibility for his mother's death.

YungZeus

Ngl, I was a little iffy with Kenny’s VA but this episode made me like him more.

Zee

Double drop 11 & 12

Jason Mclean

#Sunday rundown I read the manga final arc about 2 years before this came out. This episode is about for Ichi going back and resolving his past history who he his/what he is? If you go back and look at the anime/manga like that it has always been a part of his story so Kubo created a "coming of age" story growing up and becoming a full adult knowing your past helps your future

G’Rale Gambino

#sunday rundown UNOHANA was 1st Kenpachi…. She fought zaraki as a kid …. She couldn’t give him the title yet since he technically lost that battle. But she didn’t feel deserving of the title either anymore .. therefore she moved to squad 4 and a new squad 11 captain was picked , becoming the 2nd Kenpachi .. who was killed by the 3rd .. killed by 4th 5th so on until Current zaraki 11th killed the 10th …. Allowing him and unohana to have the true battle for the name …

Kayso

What's interesting is Unohana's shikai and bankai name are the same. Minazuki is the name of the manta ray creature we seen her and Isane flying on in the soul society arc which was her shikai. Kenpachi and Unohana backstory and parallels are dope. RIP Unohana.

accelangel

man sub really....is something else, the TYBW dub is not as good as the original dub, which wasn't as good as the sub, but it was closer than this........you guys are really missing out on some amazing voice acting work. unfortunate.

accelangel

the TYBW dub is pretty bad, the original had a better dub than this.....they changed some voice actors and o course the voice actors aged......even in sub ichigo is not quite the old ichigo, but its still a million times better than TYBW dub ichigo. JYB voice has gone bad, if you watched the code geass movie recently you heard how different lelouch sounds. it sucks the normies chose dub when even RTTV watches sub. they dont take notes or anything like these guys dude, they're truly a bunch of normies -_-

XXI

Bleach screams AURA

L.C.

Attack on titan is trash after the timeskip. I wouldn't even have AOT in my top 40 or 50 anime. Shit was ass and I can name off an entire list of the problems I had with AOT when that timeskip happened and everything taking place after that. You guys really live up to ur name though because its always the normies who end up watching anime that act like AOT is an 11/10 show. The manga went to shit after the timeskip and so did the anime. Always the basic anime watchers that glaze AOT up and down when its not nearly as good as they think it is lol. But to each their own. I guess as long as you enjoy it then what else matters? But I still call it out since normies always make a big deal out of the series and it never ends.

Just had to bring it up since you guys seemingly have the standard of the best stuff anime has to offer being like AOT based on the comparison from bleach to this in this video. Honestly a good amount of what TYBW has done so far I would put above AOT. At least its way above that trash that happened from the timeskip onwards. I like you guys though so its just me clowning on your AOT glazing. Not a big deal to me its just funny since its always the normie type of people who glaze AOT the most.
