i love hoe Deku and Bakugo have this unspoken bond where they dont need to talk to make a plan just one look and they know exactly what to do. also love how he called himself Kacchan just shows he never hated the nickname like others liked to interject it fully embraces their bond~~

I mean it’s also possible he did hate the nickname but changed his mind. Midoriya didn’t like the name Deku until Ochaco gave him a better meaning for it. Bakugo willingly taking the name now is symbolic of his changed relationship with Deku.

The episode represents the epitome of why so many people have dropped MHA or why it’s finale isn’t talked about as much as other anime. The author is too afraid to kill off any of the main hero characters and would rather death bait his audience then create any meaningful stakes in the story. All Might's death was foreshadowed as early as season 4, but Horikoshi decided to do an uno reverse and have the kid who just died a few minutes ago suddenly revive and save him. What's the point in watching/reading a story if you know the heroes are going to be fine no matter what.

On a cooler note. If All Might was “Canonically” supposed to die in the OG timeline… does that mean AFO was actually supposed to win? Up until RIGHT NOW… everything was on track that, despite all the prep through the whole show, the main characters were SUPPOSED to lose!! Until RIGHT THIS EPISODE From here on, Nighteye would no nothing of what’s coming
