What Mitsuri is looking for is to have a Boyfriend, she is affectionate, and if she is the ara ara type, and Tanjiro has a scene with her in season 3 episode 1, you could do a scene of the two of them in the waters but with Mitsuri. wearing her hunter uniform.

Okay, I'll have to make up an alt timeline because Tanjiro dies before he's 17 in this series? In the finale? Mitsuri is 19 in the series finale? Is this accurate?

Tanjiro technically survives the series, but the rest is accurate. Alt timeline where Tanjiro is slightly older and "training" (hehe) under his superior Mitsuri to work on his crazy endurance/willpower (his canon abilities) (Theres actually a major training arc right before the final battle, so you could easily fit in a scenario like that story)

Not during the series, its implied he married another character named Kanao long after the ending, but we almost never see them interact...
