If it's a serious issue I have nothing against it. I just worry that turns things into a race to see who can be one of the first fifteen or twenty to list an idea. That's part of why I stopped suggesting ideas. To cut down and keep it fair you might want to pay attention to time-stamps for who 2nds an idea.

Hear me out on this one…we nominate and second….no change there, Doc picks the 15 or so that he finds most interesting to move onto the voting round. Doc wins with topics he likes, we win cause Doc likes the winner, plus we could eliminate “docs choice “ so one less topic to keep track of.

Even though a topic is close to winning for months, it may not even make it next time... Plus, we can see some trends here: if Doc's Choice or Doc's Vacation are among the options, they are most likely to win. In other words, there is not much chance for other topics.
