Oof didn't mean for this to get a bit sad but here we go:

I was thinking of what the boys would say was the best Christmas they ever had. Kimrick would say when he was around 7 or 8 when his parents got him the latest coolest remote control truck he always wanted among a bunch of other toys. He hasn't had many good Christmases after his mom and sister passed.

Kylee would say it was when he was 16 and Scotty surprised him with some expensive and sold out concert tickets. He hadn't had any good Christmases before that one.
