I wanted to talk about this topic since the beginning. Now with christmas at the front door it even fits more then at any time else.

Nobody asked me to do themes like halloween, christmas, thanksgiving, etc.
Still, I'd like to talk about why I won't include such events.

I always wondered about other developers (don't matter if NSFW or not) when they implement such events in their alpha status games.
I felt like this is something one should think about at the end. Since their game is obviously not finished they should have better things to do.

Today, I don't see this so strict anymore. Seasonal events have their appeal. I would say everybody should do what everybody likes to do. If it even makes sense in the video game universe one creates, then the better.

Maybe it was something personal. When I watched my favourite cartoons back then I always hated it when a special christmas episode was shown.

Anyhow, for me counts: As long as I have other, more important things to do, I will do them first. Seasonal events are optional. Very optional.

I agree with this, but it doesn't hurt to "make room" for such things, if you should ever add them in. Like it would be difficult to put an extra 5th shelf in a set of drawers if you only made it to hold 4. :)

I just got like 10 email notifications of you posting new stuff, but they're all actually old posts. Not sure what happened there. xD Oh well. Hopefully you don't mind a new comment on an old topic. :)

Those 7 posts were for patrons only, but since I made them public for everyone now, those who follow me will receive an equal amount of e-mails :) So, it's not a bug, it's patreons feature xD And I HOPE people will comment on my old stuff. So I can get more feedback :)

I agree. Seasonal events are fun and all. But id honestly like to see more main game stuff being done. They can have their place .... In the final parts of production :)
