The comic is done in a few days.

During my waiting time for it to get finished, I mostly played around with Unity and overhauled the dialogue function.

About Unity: I first prepared with a book a while ago. Simultaneously I watched tutorials online. I was ready to do an Unity in-built tutorial project called 'Scavenger'. I did about 40% of it, but as I worked on it (while watching a video of how to create everyhing proporly) I noticed that I just write off code and that's it. And it definitely isn't an easy one. They claim this tutorial to be for beginners / advanced people. For me it felt like more then that and that's from someone who has coding experience and even prepared learning Unity beforehand. I switched to something easier afterwards.

Anyway, theoretically I am ready for a new project. I will alternate between creating assets and doing code. As I reached this way of thinking I took a few days to draw some more for my new project.

About the dialogue function: This one was a pain in the eye for a long time and I really wanted to improve it. It overall worked, but I hated the redundant code in it. It had about 13.000 lines of code, but I managed to reduce it to about 9500 (~25%).
(The whole client behaviour is set in only ~3300 lines, for you to compare)

I thought because the new version will introduce lots of new dialogues this is the best time to overhaul the code, especially if I wait for something different to be finished (the comic).

Beginning tomorrow I look for a few sound effects that can be added into to comic, and as soon as Mayiamaru finishes her piece of work I start to animate it (very simple, just panels that pop up in a determined order)

After that more dialogues, a new NPC and new animations.
