Like I said, I wanna do everything as good as I can right from the beginning. As few of these "I can always adjust this later" as I can get.
The cheap looking sketches you see is everything that I do via code. Meaning title, buttons, version number and sister number two behind the counter. She will get animated there.
Let's talk about some more about my new game. How about some technical stuff?
zum Damenhaus (zDh) had a resolution from 800px x 600px.
Potion Shop Schwesterherz (PSS) will get 1280px x 720px. This is nicely scaleable with good and modern monitors. Furthermore fullscreen or any resolution adjustment won't be a problem in Unity.
Okay, what exactly do I wanna improve with PSS? And the answer is everything. I will improve my weaknesses (UI, graphic, explanations) but I also wanna extend my strenghts (animations, dialogues, game sense). I know what I did right, I know what I did wrong. I guess this is the advantage of having created another game already.
The next thing I'm gonna do is an option setting screen. Nothing much, just a display that shows stuff like volume control and so on. I wanna program everything ready as well, meaning a functional main menu and a functional setting funciton. After that I finally come to sister number one. She will be controlled by the player. More about her when I am done with the settings.
I want to take care about PSS till the end of the month. Plus / minus a few days. After that I'll implement the yeti into zDh. This will be the last "animal" for the game. 8 new animations with a big creature. Promises nice positions ;)
I still have a good amount of good ideas for zDh that I want to have implemented.
