"Well, hopefully this floating eye in the corner of the room doesn't mean anything bad - JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!"

Hello, fellow crows,

oof, I spend so much time with theory crafting... Once I got the basic layout of the new upper floor of the mansion done, it was time to draw some more random furniture, which isn't done, since I wanna have more.

But the real thinking went into the new enemies. I announced a new elite enemy and a new gamble trap. Both will get implemented, with the difference that the hentai animation of the gamble trap will be different than what I had planned (cause I simply like the new idea more).
First off: There will be two more lesser enemies and one more trap additionally. One of the new lesser enemies is the Nothic that you can see in the image above. The trap is something that needs yet to get chosen by me.

There was the idea of eldritch possessed dolls (futas) and teddys, which I liked very much at first. But it felt that although it still counts as horror it would lead the mansion in a more 'toy' oriented topic and I continued to have doubts. I'd love to create some big, spooky, humanoid dolls at some point, cause this idea existed since zum Damenhaus, but it seems like I have to delay this again.

So instead I went with a more classic horror approach. (And no, you won't see any frankstein monsters roaming around xD). I will introduce the next enemies step by step, just like the Nothic.

I started with the Nothic, since I thought it would be the more easier approach and it was certain that I want to add it to the roster of enemies. Well, turned out that the moveset that I had planned for the Nothic was rather exhausting to work on and in the end I wasn't able to get it done in terms of programming. I won't go into details, but I wanted the Nothic to do a jump slash attack once it turned visible. It was surprisingly hard to implement and connect it to the rest of what I already have for the other enemies in terms of code.
So instead it will now have a short movement increase after turning visible, so Sonja still needs to keep some safe distance, right after she notices the Nothic. I will handle game balance once every enemy is done and when I am in the test phase.

At least the hentai animation seems to play out as good as I hoped, so I don't need to put in more time than in the actual roaming phase of the Nothic.

I expect that the enemy creation will get more constant from now on. I have plans for some interesting move sets for the other enemies as well... Hopefully I can pull them off better than the Nothic.

After I am done with the hentai animation of the Nothic I will work on the gamble trap.

Until then.
I wish you some happy days!

Your
random Crow
