Hello, I wanna give you an update of how I'm coming along with the room upgrades.
I said I wanted to plan everything out till the last detail, but I already started working on it in-game anyways, just cause I don't know if it will look right in the end. Basically the bones and the flesh are there, but the skin is missing some pieces (that was somewhat of a creppy comparision...)
Today I got done with the bedroom. Not in terms of drawing though, I will do this at the very end; I wanna create the functions first.
And I started with the most simple to implement. Next is the living room.
For now these things are planned for the rooms:
Bed room: sleeping is more effective
Bath room: taking a bath or taking a shower will increase chance of getting grabed / collecting more essence after sex
Living room: reducing gossip
Kitchen: multiple dishes that vary Sonja's stats, like adding more health, but reducing stamina.
Store: Two possibilities: Either having passive improvements like "more coins for every sold potion" or the player can set an individual store campaign like "3 for 2" which increases sell rate, but reduces potion prices. Something like that. The main difference is that the first one is passive and the second active.
Laboratory: more bag space, chance to make an additional potion every time you craft one, chance of saving some ingredients when brewing, and so on. Not sure yet what I will do. There are multiple choices for me; even more than what i just mentioned.
I can always add another function to whatever room, but for this first room upgrade update I am happy with it. Feel free to suggest something.
Also 0.19 was the last version that had 'Temporary Mechanics' since I am finally able to connect them to the room upgrades (or otherwise).
