September 2022 status update (Patreon)

Hello there,

currently I work on the new crafting system and I'm about in the middle of it.

Here are the changes that are planned:

• crafting will receive a dedicated tab in the shop and gets removed from the storage tab
• in that tab you will drag & drop ingredients into up to 3 slots. The amount of ingredients needs to be exact to craft your desired potion/powder
• click the 'Craft' button and you will get your item. Click it again for more items of the same kind
• recipes have been overhauled: There is only one recipe for each potion/powder now instead of 2 or 3! Furthermore the ingredients needed for each potion has been re-adjusted
• recipes show up in the new crafting tab as notes. Follow those notes to create a potion. You don't particularly need those notes to craft; they just tell you what is needed. If you know a recipe by heart, that's good for you
• in the beginning of the game the player will have 5 recipes available: health,- stamina,- arousal potion and sleep,- love Powder
• the rest of the recipes can be found throughout the forest/mansion location. I don't know how exactly I will do this yet
• as said: you can craft a potion even if you don't have the recipe if you know the ingredients needed. This is pretty useful if you wanna play through the game again at some point
• when you craft a potion I probably make a small effect, like ingredients falling into a cauldron and voila: There you have your potion

I will also think about making ingredients sellable if you gathered to much of one kind. Nothing fancy, just basically click it for selling. Simple mechanic.

I expect that there will be quite some time left when I finished this topic. I don't know what else I will add this update. Once I figured it out I will tell you.
Also I will share a screenshot when the new crafting mechanic is done.

About my cooperation with my CG Artist: We haven't talked much yet, other than that he likes to start on the thrall CG first. In any case he seems rather busy for the time being.
