Hey folks, how are you doing?

The new Linda animation worked out as I hoped. After the player saw it the first time there will be a dialogue thrown in the pool of random casual dialogues (golden exclamation mark above Linda) that talks about that certain animation.

Since I want this animation to be a surprise I won't go into detail, but I will tell you how to see it:

  • Linda's inhibition must be 0
  • she needs to be on the balcony (8 p.m. in-game time)
  • Linda's libido can't be triggerd (she can't have sex, or she will just be somewhere else around the house)
  • the chance that the animation appears when all conditions are met are 50:50. If it doesn't trigger, she will just stand on the balcony or masturbate (depending on her libido), like usual
  • after the animation triggered the first time, it will add a dialogue, as mentioned above

If you're afraid that you could miss the animation, trust me: You won't miss it. It's pretty striking.

I'm happy that I finally got this animation out of my head.

Now continuing with the rest of the update:
I think going with another outfit for Linda is a good plan. Linda will receive one more outfit anyway, and this will be the last outfit in Potion Shop Schwesterherz.
Since Linda will get this outfit at 60 inhibition, it's a modest one. I'm thinking about a maid outfit. It fits her pretty well, and gives a throwback to 'zum Damenhaus'. I most likely stay with a black & white color pattern, which is common for those outfits, instead of going for the blue color scheme, like all of Linda's other clothes. But I'll need to see it first when atually working on it.

Some Insight about clothes/outfits in PSS and future games from me:
Personally I like having different clothing options in hentai games. The problem is that they are a headache to deal with.
Basically all clothes are animated for each animation instead of working on their own (physic based outfits all and foremost).
Sorry, I have a hard time explaining it, but I will try it:
I have ideas of how to solve this better for my next game. Clothes that stick to the skin are not that big of a deal, like shoes, gloves, or even lingerie. The problem appears with everything that contains physics, like skirts, dresses, ponytails, bunny ears and so on. I need to find a way to automate that process of, for example, bunny ears, move with the character without actually animating it (and additionally preventing it to clip through everything). And, with that, find a good solotion to easily replace them in terms the player swaps to... dog ears, or whatever.

I really want to make clothing work in future games. I just need more brain grease and experiments.

The outfits you currently see in PSS were actually supposed to get extended, but I decided to leave it be, cause of the reason mentioned above. Now both Sonja and Linda have 4 outfits (excluding being naked) which is a number that I'm okay with.

You will hear from again on halloween! I will start working on Linda's maid outfit tomorrow. I can see sharing a preview of how it looks, before I'm even done adding it to all her animations.
