Patreon Development Update 12.05.2022 (Patreon)

Hello all,

It is time for a new development update.

Level: Our level team is currently looking into several aspects of UE5 landscape management. This week our focus was path tools to create the various roads and rivers in our world map. We also began work on our village house tilesets.

Sandbox 2: We started work on "Prop Collections", which allow you to save combinations of objects as a separate prop which can be reused and shared to the community

Character: The art team went through all the planned outfits for the game and discussed the design directions and references for each, leading to a smoother work process and a more exact development plan.
We are proud to introduce our new Kerpali character in the cast: Vark the horseman.

Animations: Next minigames are being brainstormed. We have a good chance for our first group-minigame to occur since the code has been updated to support groups. Any ideas for nice scenes you want to share with us are greatly appreciated.

Story: Currently we are working on quest mechanics in relation to the story and extracting the relevant system design info from it.
