Happy New Year, Frotkateers! This week on the Frotcast, we commemorate recording on January 6th by bitching about the feckless Democrats, possibly a Frotcast first (has this been done? have we tried this?). There's also some additional bitching about the kids inexplicably getting this day off of school and an even more inexplicable appearance from El Chapo.

After that, we get into brass tacks: is Adrian Dittman really Elon Musk's alt account? Or is he actually just a German man who lives in Fiji where he runs "a solar-powered maritime lifestyle service warehouse for superyachts."

I swear to God that is a real sentence in a real article defending this man's existence. Matt and Brendan still don't buy it, and honestly, can you blame them?

We find out who won the Golden Globes, and discuss Wicked, and Matt's favorite songs from Wicked, and which songs from Wicked can best be turned into analingus puns. Shut up, it's Matt's thing. Stop yucking his yum.

Then we hold space for yet another dubious decision not to include actual Little People in a film where Little People were expressly in the script. But it's okay, because Dana White is on the Facebook board now. I dunno, man. Weird times. But when times get weird, the pods get weirder.

Love the show but it’s pronounced room. 2 “O’s”. Not rhum. Keep up the good work.

The System

Dittman and Musk don’t actually sound alike tho. Musk stammers a lot. And his speech is a little more clipped. And Dittman is probably making a lot of money from this whole thing.

I’m sure you know but just to clarify, the spectator is an awful right wing magazine owned by a friend of musk, Paul Marshall.

People buy accounts on social media sites/apps. I used to follow someone who had a few thousand followers. All of a sudden some random company started showing up on my insta. I started reading through the comments and someone said that the persom who’s account I used to follow probably sold it to that company so they had a following of real accounts and they could push whatever it is they were selling to different companies. I then looked for the person I was following and sure enough I was no longer following them. Its probably exactly what Elon did. It makes sense that Elon would do this instead of having his engineers make him a good looking fake profile.

Brendan's best joke of all time. Still laughing.

Glad someone else mentioned this. The Spectator seems like a posh right wing mag to me. Like The Daily Mail for people with large stately homes.
