I guess it's finally time for me to watch this movie

Baby Toby (Toby Froud) is the son of the artist/concept designer for the film, Brian Froud. His mom, Wendy Froud, was also involved in designing puppets on Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal (highly recommend watching). Baby Toby went on to do the same kind of work as his parents and even worked on the Netflix prequel series to The Dark Crystal. 😁

I will not be mad if you guys go through some of the Henson group's best hits. Besides this you have Dark Crystal, the first Muppet Movie, and Muppet Christmas Carol.

Yeah, more 80s and glitter and adventure and feelin’ old while Maple sits around in her late-20s please and thank you very much!!! The Lost Boys, Adventures in Babysitting, Short Circuit, Flight of the Navigator, Teen Witch, The Goonies would make for some fun, yet - alas - fartless reactions. And if you want something more dramatic/comedic check out Mystic Pizza or Heathers. But if you want the absolute flip side to Labyrinth, then Pan’s Labyrinth is essentially its brutal, twisted and effed up dark adult twin Spanish cousin that will haunt your dreams.

The film should be called Daddy Issues. The Labyrinth is Sarah's own coming of age story. Everything takes place in her mind. Her mother, who is a broadway star, is seen in the newspaper clippings in her bedroom at the beginning of the film and if you look closely the man she's with, it's David Bowie. Sarah's actively fantasizing about her mother's boyfriend. And the end line where Jeremy goes, 'Just fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave...' That is the definition of a Master Slave relationship.

Yeah, Jereth's words at the end is 100% gaslighting.
