I assume you'll be getting into House of the Dragon at some point. But if you hold off and start it next year around March/April, you'll be finishing up season two, right around the time season three will be premiering.

Or watch the first two seasons now, and give it a break/let it breathe for a year while waiting for season three to start next summer. Either way has its benefits I suppose.

Lmao I completely forgot they did that cave scene with the Children of the Forest carvings, "looky here, Daenerys, I happened to find these ancient, super well-preserved carvings, and while the CotF are normally extremely symbolic and cryptic, these carvings will be super clear and obvious and happen to perfectly further my argument", that's hilarious xD also the Dothraki horse surfing and arakh double-fisting, and the Arya Stark anime ninja moves, haha, this show has become a comedy

There are so many negative comments from people who dislike the later seasons in your last few comment sections... but so many people forget that even the worst episodes of GoT are better than 99% of the rest of television, especially when this was made. Thanks for sticking with it!

Exactly. These comments have been here preempting the "bad seasons" since at least the start of season 5. It's incredibly annoying! This is their first watch and it's in a completely different context than us viewers who were watching episode by episode for years. It colors perspective in a way that is a net negative imo.

Trying to be positive, I really like how they handled the idea of war and destruction dragons cause. Yeah, Cersei is bad. But most of the soldiers shouldn't be paying for her crimes. Like Jorah once said: "There is good & evil on both sides of every war ever fought"

2nd best episode of the entire series. Jon's pride was getting in the way of saving his people. He literally wants something for nothing. Kahleesi is offering everything he wants, and he won't bend the knee to get this crucial help. Jon was so stupid in these episodes. Kahleesi was being true to her goals and pursuing the Throne.
