Yeah, this was 1999, so crystal wasn't considered as dirty as crack but it was cheaper and not as next level as straight cocaine. Adderall existed but it wasn't really popular and it would be some years before it became the study drug.

Regarding the David "Hockey" and "Korschak" references, The Sopranos has a lot of malapropisms subtly scattered throughout the series. So if you pick up a word that doesn't sound phonetically accurate, just know these guys can be stunads of the highest magnitude when it comes to proper English...😂 PS: Just joined to watch your reactions to this incredible show. Can't wait to experience it again through your fresh set of eyes...☺️

Late to the party, but officially hooked on the show now. Thank you guys so much for giving me an excuse to finally watch this. I also do not mind at all the once/week format. It's better for you guys in the long run, I'm sure. And, to any folks who are knowingly watching a reaction video, who then become aggravated that the people on the reaction video are reacting to something, if you're being serious, then I think I have a solution. Just rewatch the Sopranos...by yourself. It's perfect: this way, nothing interferes with your carefully maintained peace, and everyone present gets to watch the Sopranos the correct way.

Am I tripping or are these episodes on Max edited? I haven’t seen the show in about 10 years. But I’ve watched the complete run dozens of times and I feel like some scenes were cut short in each of the first 3 episodes.

No it's just the weird editing choices of the first season in particular. The show hadn't quite found its style yet, and it can seem jarring on a rewatch.
