Watching this back with the context of the new book, knowing what's going on in Haymitch, Beetee, Wiress, Mags and Plutarch's heads just made me cry so much.

I haven’t watched the full thing yet to see if it’s mentioned or remembered that Peeta lost his leg at the end of the first book, and that’s why he falls in the snow and takes Katniss down with him when they’re on camera for the first time in Catching Fire. As well as why he is very hampered physically in Catching Fire, but because they left out that he is now a disabled amputee out of the movies, so it doesn’t really make sense in the movies like it does in the books.

Truly, some of the things that they leave out of the movies do not make any sense at all for the story because it just changes so much perception wise, even if the filmmakers obviously didn’t think it did.
