to be fair Daemon is doing what he has always done so its not like they are doing something new with him. This is the way he has always been written.

I think the next episode is my favourite of season 2. A lot of people say 2x4 is the best but I think 2x2 really has everything that ever made Game of Thrones great in the first place. It's phenomenal.

I think a lot of people's frustrations is they hoped/wanted him to be different with Rhaenyra. Eventually they have to accept this is just how he is.
