Just in case some don't know, they are adapting an American version of Squid Game. I hope they do Red Rover as a game should be intense for this type of show.

This show ended up being better than I thought it’d be. I remember being on the hype train for season one but lost interest between season 2. After watching it all I’d say it’s one of the best Netflix original shows ever.

I can't believe how ass this ending was. From the fantastic first half of this season it went downhill so fast. Gi-hun from charismatic leader wanting to save people and take down the games became a mute baby carrier. The whole motive of his fight against the games just disappeared. The father of the baby became cartoonishly evil. The whole conversation between In-ho and Gi-hun was so disappointing, boiled down to few sentences and growls, meanwhile it should have been the most important point of the show. This was supposed to be what's called in writting high-level conversation or top of the shelf conversation, a high-level, sophisticated, and impactful exchange. It often involves elegant language, deep insights, or meaningful topics, and is usually considered of high quality or importance. Most often it's between characters of opposite point of view and from different sociatal ladder. And we didn't get it at all, the only semblence of it was Gi-hun's "Humans are not horses" when it should have been a 10 minute long conversation with In-ho. Also like besides Gi-hun and the baby why would we give a flying fuck about anyone in the final game? They killed all beloved characters early instead of saving them for the final emotional game meanwhile we have Gi-hun baby and some cartoonishly evil people and stupid at that. And don't get me fucking started with the detective. He was looking for the island for 2 FUCKING SEASONS just to say "why" and get the baby. Literally all his scenes with the boat and looking for the island could've been cut and the result would be the same. I honestly thought he was supposed to be justified dues ex machina since we were watching him for 2 seasons looking for that island. What an absolute joke. They could have at least have his brother be in his apartment and at least have some short conversation where In-ho at least tries to explain himself and talks how the baby won the game because Gi-hun sacrificed himself.
